Coming Around for a Shot

The offensive player with the ball will pass the ball to the open man.  If the receiver of the ball is covered, then the ball handler will bring the ball over to him to show him he wants to play with him.  In the previous post the receiver was overplayed so he cut to the basket to relieve the pressure while looking to open up a scoring opportunity.

Sometimes the receiver's man will jump off his man as the ball is brought over and then the receiver becomes underplayed.  The receiver will fake like he's going to the basket but come around the dribbler for a shot behind the screen.
